We use Claude by Anthropic, a state-of-the-art AI, to write each poem. For every delivery, we generate 3 candidate poems, score them for personalization, uniqueness, and quality, then select the best one. No two poems are ever the same.
Very. Each poem references details you provide about the recipient -- their name, personality, interests, relationships, and any special context like inside jokes or shared memories. The more details you share, the more personal the poems become.
You'll see a preview poem during onboarding to get a feel for the quality. After subscribing, each poem is a surprise -- that's part of the magic. You can always view all sent poems in your dashboard after they're mailed.
Every poem goes through quality scoring and safety checks. But tastes vary -- you can update your personalization details anytime to guide future poems in a different direction.
Each poem is optimized for handwriting on an A6 (4x6 inch) card, typically 100-280 characters. This constraint actually produces better poetry -- every word has to earn its place.
Yes! We partner with Handwrite.io, whose robots hold real ballpoint pens and write on real paper with real ink. The result includes natural pressure variations, slight spacing inconsistencies, and authentic letterforms -- indistinguishable from human handwriting.
Yes. During onboarding, you'll choose from multiple handwriting styles. Each style has a unique personality -- from elegant script to casual print. You can change styles anytime from your dashboard.
We use premium A6 (4x6 inch) card stock with matching envelopes. You choose from multiple stationery designs during setup. Every card is high-quality and feels special to receive.
Not yet through our platform, but Handwrite.io does offer custom handwriting replication. Contact us if you're interested in this for a premium experience.
Poems are typically handwritten within 1 business day of generation and arrive via USPS in 3-5 additional business days. Total time from generation to mailbox: 3-7 business days.
Currently, we only deliver to US addresses. International delivery is on our roadmap.
You can update the delivery address anytime from your dashboard. Changes apply to future poems. If a poem is returned due to a bad address, we'll notify you.
By default, 'Poems From AI' appears as the return address. During setup, you can optionally use your own address as the return address for a more personal touch.
The poem itself doesn't mention AI. With your own return address, the recipient will think it's from you. With our default return address, they'll see 'Poems From AI' -- but the handwriting and stationery look completely authentic.

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard with one click -- no questions asked. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
You can preview a personalized poem during onboarding at no cost. This lets you see exactly the quality you'll receive before committing.
Yes. Pause and resume anytime from your dashboard. While paused, no poems are generated or billed.
You provide the recipient details and personalization, choose a duration (3, 6, or 12 months), and pay once. We handle everything from there -- no recurring charges.
Yes. You can choose to send the gift anonymously. The poems will arrive without identifying who sent them.
Yes. You can write a personal gift message that will be included with the first poem delivery.
Not currently -- the personalization stays as you set it. This ensures the poems reflect your knowledge of them, not generic details.
